Version 7 of the Apprenticeship Programme response to COVID-19 has been published. The new guidance will replace version 6 of the document found on the apprenticeship programme response page.
This version of the guidance is a short update driven by the need to extend the EPA flexibility for functional skills qualifications and also contains a new paragraph on the temporary flexibility to allow apprenticeship certificates to be sent to an alternative address.
Version 6 of the guidance on the apprenticeship programme response to COVID-19 focused on:
Re-opening educational settings. From September, there will be no limits on apprentices, at any age, attending on-site delivery.
Universal Credit for apprentices
A future launch of a support service for redundant apprentices
The Level 2 suspension of the rule on Functional Skills assessments extended until 31 December 2020
